OK so I am way...no make that WWWAAAYYYYYY overdue for a new post. We have had a busy few weeks. We went down to spend a "last hurrah" weekend in Torrey before it is sold. We went down with Jason's sister and her family. Our kids are the same ages and are the best of friends so being able to spend a whole weekend together with their cousins is a dream come true for them.
It was a lot of fun. On one of the days we went down to Fruita which is right at the entrance to Capitol Reef National Park.
We had a picnic and played in the water and Frisbee. The red rock in the background is so gorgeous.
The kids have so much fun down there and I love that the same things that Jason loved about it when he was a little kid are the same things that our girls will have memories of as well. We really love being in Torrey and will miss it when the house sells but...such is life.

What a fun place to go! I'm glad that you were able to go and have a great last hoorah!! Maybe you'll be able to get another place in a few years... looks like an awesome trip.
